Mysore Dasara 2011: Dasara Yuva Sambrama Inaugurated

Author: As part of the world famous Mysore Dasara, Dasara Yuva Sambrama 2011 was inaugurated today at the Open Air Theater, Manasagangothri Campus around 6:30 PM. Minister S A Ramdas inaugurated the colorful event which will continue for another 5 days. Karnataka Housing Board Minister G T Devegowda, Sandalwood Actress Rooprashree, Mayor Pushpalatha Chikanna, Police Comissioner Sunil Agrawal, Police officer Basavaraj Malagathi and many other officers attended the inaugural function.

CHAITRA VASANTH – MISS MYSORE DASARA-2010
Miss Mysore Dasara’ Chaitra Vasanth, daughter of city-based agricultural scientist Dr. Vasanth Kumar Thimakapur and Vaasanthi, Chaitra has done her MBA in Agri-Business Management and B.Sc. in Agriculture from the National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management, Hyderabad. Presently, she is one of the Directors of Green Life- Science Technologies, Vijaynagar III Stage.

Yuva Dasara Woes – Mismanagement and Rain plays havoc
Yuva Dasara on Sunday 21st September 2009 started with a bang, but only to see many issues with regard to mismanagement, traffic woes, violent pushing and inconvenience to the Gold Pass Holders. having lived Mysore for more than three years, this was the first time I wanted to enjoy the Dasara 2009 to the fullest, but had to return with few bad memories.
